Poem #4 'END'

When you have lost a friend whom you truly love.

Not sure how you would feel, but this was how I felt.

This was written some time ago, when things were a bit messy

A personal one.

'These cuts are deeper than they seem

These wounds remind me that it was not a dream.

Yet I try my luck everyday

Hoping that one day I'll get my way

Between us there were many rules unspoken

Between us there were many promises broken.

Yet I remain naive and hopeful

Trying to keep it beautiful.

But I guess all good things must have an end

That it why friendships have an 'end'.

Farewell I bid thee

For there is no longer a 'we'. '
